CSA Sponsors DC HS STUDENTS TRAVEL
Cultural Study Abroad is dedicated to providing the public with superior travel, to supporting artists and photographers, and to offering disadvantaged high school children free study travel. Each year one group of children travel to Rome or Paris for one week with Dr. Iovino.
13 high school students from Washington Latin Public Charter School traveled to Rome, Italy with Dr. Iovino and four of their teachers. The underprivileged childrens’ fees were completely covered by individual charitable gifts. Going forward, CSA raises funds through Benefit Concerts and sponsorships from corporations, family foundations, and individuals.
Dumbarton Church on May 19 will host the soprano Rosa Lamoreaux and pianist Steve Silverman performing from 7:00 -8:00 pm. Tickets are $50, 40 and 25. Tickets may be ordered through info@culturalstudyabroad.com and at the door at 6:00 pm on May 19. Dumbarton Church is at 3133 Dumbarton Street NW in Georgetown. All contributions are tax deductible.
