Steve received a BFA in 1976 from the Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI; and he received a MFA in 1980 from the University of Maryland, College Park, MD. Steve is represented by Hemphill Fine Arts, Washington, DC. Currently he teaches at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC and George Mason University in Virginia.
Steve’s paintings are in the following collections: Library of Congress; The Aspen Institute; The Corcoran Gallery of Art; The Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden; Longwood Center for the Visual Arts, The Washington Post Corporation; The Washington DC Convention Center. He has been a visiting artist and critic at the Maryland Institute College of Art and a visiting artist at Arizona State University; George Mason University; Fundacion CIEC Betanzos, Spain; Skopelos Foundation Skopelos, Greece; and Cultural Study Abroad, Italy.

Chan Chao was born in Kalemyo, Burma in 1966. He and his family left Burma for the United States in 1978. Nazraeli Press has published three books by Chao: Burma: Something Went Wrong, Letter from PLF and Echo. His Burma portraits were included in the 2002 Whitney Biennial. Chao is represented by Yancey Richardson Gallery in New York, G Fine Art in Washington, DC, and Paul Kopeiken Gallery in Los Angeles.
Chao’s photographs are in the permanent collection of the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the Corcoran Gallery of Art, the Whitney Museum of American Art, the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, the L.A. County Museum of Art and the LaSalle Bank Photography Collection. His work has been published in Colors Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, GEO Magazine, Culture & Travel Magazine and The Walrus. English Literature Lillian Bisson, Ph.D. lillian.bisson@marymount.edu
For 30 years, Dr. Bisson has been teaching Medieval Literature, the classics of the Western Civilization, and seminars on Dante, Chaucer, and Shakespeare. She has published numerous articles on medieval poetry and prose and a book on Chaucer. Dr. Bisson has taught the lessons of Jane Austen’s novels to generations. She has also influenced many young scholars as they wrote their theses. Lillian is a globtrotter and adventurer.

Founder of CSA, college professor, and world-traveler, received her Ph.D. in Medieval Italian Studies at Indiana University, Bloomington and teaches Medieval and Modern European history and literaure at Georgetown University and George Washington University in Washington DC, China, and Europe. Angela is also an artist and will have her first solo-show on May 21, 2010 at the Parish Gallery in Washington DC.
