Loved the trip to Italy with Cultural Study Abroad. A terrific experience that I can’t wait to do again! —Charles and Robert 2007

WOW I had a blast traveling with Angela. She is a seasoned traveler with an amiable personality, and she takes the stress out of planning the perfect trip by knowing exactly where to go! Although she will direct you to some favorite spots that are not to be missed, she is also open to new experiences and understands that the secret to any successful trip is to know just when to go with the flow.  Although many people in the hospitality industry in major cities speak English, having a fluent Italian speaker was invaluable when traveling through the rustic and beautiful countryside. Steve Cushner, the artist in residence, was a fantastic guide on my visual journey. The best part of the trip was coming home with a suitcase of artwork that perfectly captured my travels through Italy! Angela and Steve made it possible to have a unique connection with Italian food, land, and culture, which is an experience that you just can’t get through guidebooks and commercial tours.  Do not miss out on this incredible opportunity!

Learning while traveling with Angela is always enriching. On the Tuscany trip the view from the villa was spectacular, the cultural excursions were filled with adventure, and engaging with the artists was stimulating. I am returning with CSA to Ischia. —Lillian 2008

Just got back from off-the-beaten track Ischia and highly recommend traveling with Angela and Steve to broaden cultural horizons–-Angela for her scholarly but down-to-earth knowledge of Italy and its people and their wonderful cuisine and Steve for his sharp eye and helpful hints on improving your creative vision! —Rossella 2009

Memories of the clear, deep blue sky make me feel cool at least in the mind and of course the memories of the wonderful time I had there with you and of course Lillian, with whom I reconnected for the first time in 12 or 13 years. I would like to thank you very much for letting me join you, Steve, and the group of painters at Donnafugata in Ragusa, Sicily. Wow, these are lovely names. So are the people I met there and interesting also. I truly enjoyed my first trip to Sicily and feel privileged to have met your group and to have been able to share the interesting and fascinating experiences and cultural riches there.-YASUKO SUZUKI 2010
